The author of the study, Rai Reem, says it is important for the urban population to spend time in parks and green spaces. Parks are a key factor in urban planning.

Gretchen Daily, another scientist involved in the study, said that living in natural places illuminates attention, concentration, memory, happiness and other aspects of life. 

Even gardens produce hormones that protect against cancer and depression.
