Why do Quick Eaters are Gaining Weight?

Eating Quickly | Eating Fast | Eating Fastly
British nutritionists have discovered that people who have the habit of eating quickly, are just as likely to become obese.

Although the discovery itself is nothing new, it is also found that fast-food eaters gain weight faster than others.

When we eat something, our body feels that this food reaches the stomach for a while. In this way, our appetite gradually decreases and disappears completely, which we also call "fullness".

Eating Quickly May Lead to Weight Gain
Fast eaters usually eat a little more than they need to and as a result, they eat more than others and take time to feel full.

This extra diet can lead to weight gain and obesity.

Eating Quickly on Dining Table

According to some previous assumptions, the high number of people who eat at the table (such as siblings and co-workers) also causes eating food quickly, which becomes a habit, especially as a result of repetition in childhood.

It is not found any clear relationship between the number of siblings/colleagues at the table eating speed as many people eat fast alone and gain weight at the same rate.

Conclusion:

Whatever the reason would be, it is certain that there should be such an interval between two bites of food that the first bite should reach the stomach through the throat. This will not only help control the amount of food you eat but will also help you to lose weight and become obese.
